ISERN Patentes y Marcas attends as every year the MARQUES annual conference, which will bring together the main firms of intellectual property. The 40th edition of MARQUES will be held at the Epic Sana Hotel (Lisbon, Portugal) from 22 to 25 September.
The exciting evolution of trademarks will be the central theme of this year’s MARQUES Annual Conference. The various sessions will explore in depth the fine line between fame and genericity; the role of regulation; the intersection of geographical indications, trademarks, and international trade; and the new Digital Product Passport. Additionally, updates from the EUIPO will be presented, and the annual analysis of case law from the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) and the General Court of the EU will be conducted.
