ISERN’s trademark lawyer, Paula Muñoz, has been selected to join MARQUES, one of the most prestigious professional organisations in the field of Intellectual Property. ISERN is proud that one of its lawyers is part of the IP Emerging Issues Committee of Marques.
The selection of our lawyer for the international trade mark department is the result of the effort and excellent work carried out by Paula Muñoz throughout her professional career. A career backed by a deep knowledge of Industrial and Intellectual Property, as well as the regulations related to New Technologies and Data Protection.
MARQUES promotes advances in Intellectual Property
One of the objectives of this association is to promote research and policy development in the field of Intellectual Property. Through the creation of teams and working groups, MARQUES addresses current and emerging challenges faced by practitioners in their daily practice. These working groups also provide support in representing the organisation before official bodies, oversee publications and assist in the planning of the organisation’s own events.
Participation in a MARQUES task force allows members to have the opportunity to deepen and specialise in specific areas of Intellectual Property. Paula Muñoz has applied to join the IP Emerging Issues team due to her strong>strong background and experience in Intellectual Property, New Technologies and Data Protection. Thanks to the knowledge acquired in these areas, Paula says she hopes “to have the opportunity to contribute to the resolution of new questions and challenges that arise in the daily practice of professionals”.
Successful selection process
Admission to a MARQUES team is a selective process based on the merits and experience of each candidate. Paula Muñoz has demonstrated her competence and ability in the field of Intellectual Property, which has earned her inclusion in the IP Emerging Issues team.
For ISERN Patentes y Marcas, Paula’s participation in MARQUES is great news. The firm supports all its professionals in their professional growth and development. In this way, ISERN can continue to be at the leading edge of the sector, being the driving force and promoters of Intellectual Property in Spain and Europe.
